Job Summary:
Hospice Nurse in Montana This position involves delivering comprehensive end-of-life care to terminally ill patients in a hospice setting. The role focuses on symptom management, patient comfort, and interdisciplinary collaboration, with shifts primarily scheduled for 12-hour rotations on day and night shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, with a typical shift duration of 12 hours. Minimum hours per week are 36.0.
• Required Qualifications: Current registered nurse (RN) license (Compact or Montana). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience working in hospice, palliative care, critical care, or medical-surgical nursing. Experience in a unionized healthcare environment is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Provide direct patient care and symptom management to terminally ill patients, including medication administration and assessments. Supervise and delegate tasks to certified nursing assistants (CNAs), ensuring quality and safety. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and support families through emotional guidance and education. Accurate documentation and adherence to infection control protocols are essential.
