Job Summary:
Telemetry Nurse in North Charleston, South Carolina. This position involves providing specialized nursing care to telemetry patients within a 29-bed unit. The role requires proficiency in monitoring cardiac patients, reading telemetry strips, and collaborating with physicians and ancillary departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: Valid BLS & ACLS certifications, NIH Stroke Scale certification, at least 30 months of RN or LPN nursing experience, ability to care for six telemetry patients including post-cardiac procedures such as PCI, PPM, ICD, or Ablations, proficient in reading telemetry strips, ability to perform phlebotomy, respiratory treatments, Foley catheter care, and manage cardiac drips (e.g., Cardizem, Amio, Nitro, Dobutamine).
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous successful travel nursing assignment, experience with new equipment or technology specific to telemetry care, strong patient education skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Additional Information: The role includes patient handoff via bedside shift report using AIDET, RN/MD rounding, and discharge planning. Travelers are expected to float as per facility policy, which may include work in the emergency department, telemetry monitoring room, or PCU. The unit emphasizes teamwork, use of advanced equipment, and staff with experienced backgrounds.
