Labor and Delivery Nurse in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the Labor and Delivery Department of a healthcare organization. The position is scheduled for day shifts, supporting maternity and neonatal patients in a busy facility committed to quality care.
Job Details
- Location: 2450 S Telshor Blvd, Las Cruces, NM 88011
- Schedule: Days, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery, and the ability to meet state-specific background check requirements in New Mexico. Candidates must also have the necessary certifications prior to start, as required by the client.
- Additional Information: Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. All clinical staff in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that background check is being processed. Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while awaiting results but require supervision during this period. The position involves supporting comprehensive maternal and neonatal care, including emergency response and patient education.
