Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse - Asheville, North Carolina. The organization is seeking a dedicated PICU RN to join its highly skilled team. The role involves providing specialized care to critically ill pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient safety and comfort. Job Details:

• Location: Asheville, North Carolina
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shift time, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 1 year of PICU experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and advanced pediatric procedures
• Additional Information: The role involves performing IV starts, central line dressing changes, ICP monitoring, trach care, tube feeding, and other critical care procedures. Candidates must adhere to unit-specific policies and dress code requirements (navy blue or white uniform). Orientation and self-scheduling options are available.
