Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) specialty position is located in Oregon City. This role involves working in a dynamic maternity unit, providing care for mothers and newborns. The candidate will support various clinical procedures and patient needs within a Level II maternity setting, including postpartum and neonatal care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting from 08/17/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license; at least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery; experience with postpartum and neonatal patients; ability to work night shifts and long hours, with a minimum of 36 hours weekly.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in a Level II maternity unit, childbirth education, and neonatal resuscitation.
• Floats: Float: Float rotation may be required between units based on needs.
• Additional Information: Candidates will participate in a 72-hour orientation. The unit is a 14-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit with an adjacent operating room. The team follows AWHONN staffing standards, with active resuscitation nurses and break nurses. The facility admits postpartum patients, low to moderate risk pregnancies, and newborns greater than 35 weeks gestation. Candidates must commit to working three of the five designated holidays and adhere to scheduling instructions provided upfront.
