Job Summary:
Operating Room Open Heart (OR OH) specialist position located in Norman, Oklahoma. The role involves assisting surgeons during operative procedures, maintaining a safe and aseptic environment in the Operating Room. The candidate is expected to demonstrate teamwork and ensure a sterile environment for optimal patient safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Must have completed a Surgical Technology program or have five (5) consecutive years of training/experience as a surgical technologist. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with one (1) year surgical technologist experience is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Role involves assisting in Operating Room with a focus on open heart procedures.
  • Experience with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) is required.
  • Certifications: BLS and NBSTSA are required; licenses/certifications will not be held pending.
  • Must meet profile requirements, including work history and skills checklist current within 1 year, and provide two supervisory references from the past 12 months of employment.
  • Certification required: BLS, NBSTSA.
  • On-call: 15 shifts per month, including 2 full weekends of call per month.
