Job Summary:
Operating Room nurse in Salem, Oregon. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a healthcare facility's operating department. The role requires collaboration with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and successful surgical outcomes.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in an operating room setting.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license in the state of Oregon.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of operating room circulating and scrubbing experience.
- Current or future Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- Certified Operating Room Nurse (CNOR) credential, preferred.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, preferred.
- Skills in pre-op area and IV starts, preferred.
