Description

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Gastroenterology (GI) is sought for a clinic-based position in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. This role involves supporting patients with complex digestive health conditions, including pancreatobiliary issues, liver disorders, reflux, and other gastrointestinal needs. The ideal candidate will join an interventional team providing outpatient care with a focus on patient-centered services.

Job Details:

  • Location: Glenwood Springs, Colorado
  • Schedule: Days shift, Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week. No call and no weekends.
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
    • Active Colorado State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), in good standing
    • Minimum of 2 years of Gastroenterology (GI) RN experience
    • BLS Certification through the American Heart Association with card in-hand before start date
    • Previous RN Clinic/Ambulatory Care experience
    • Bilingual - English/Spanish is preferred
    • Out-of-state agencies must register in the Colorado state system and ensure the social security number and date of birth are correct in Medefis
    • Radius rule: traveler's permanent address must be at least 75 miles away from the facility
  • Additional Information:
    1. Travelers permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility.
    2. CAPS Requirement (APPLY ASAP): may take up to two weeks to obtain. Agencies should register in the system to run this as the employer, with out-of-state agencies entering their real address and selecting Colorado.
    3. Ensure the correct SS# and DOB are entered in Medefis; inaccuracies may cause onboarding delays.
