Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Florence, Alabama. This role involves providing specialized care in a dedicated Labor and Delivery department within a healthcare facility. The position is expected to commence on 07/27/2026, with a schedule of night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Job Details

• Location: Florence, Alabama
• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license as a registered nurse (RN), ACLS or ALS-OB certification, NRP certification, Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification, BLS certification, minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in labor and delivery or obstetrics.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with postpartum care, fetal monitoring and assessment, emergency response, and postpartum hemorrhage management. Knowledge of common diagnoses such as preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to start within 7-10 days from offer acceptance. Orientation sessions are held weekly on Mondays. Block scheduling and unit-specific protocols should be followed. Postpartum care experience and strong time management skills are preferred.
