Description

Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Technologist specializing in Open Heart procedures at a healthcare organization in Lexington, KY. This position involves supporting cardiovascular operating room teams with patient care and procedure assistance. The role is scheduled for day shifts, with specific call and weekend responsibilities as outlined.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Two plus years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience; valid certifications related to perioperative or surgical technology; current licensure or registry as applicable; location in or near Lexington, KY.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in open heart or cardiovascular surgery is highly desirable.
Additional Information: The position involves supporting two-week day call shifts (3 PM to 7 AM), with every other weekend covering from 3 PM Friday to 7 AM Monday, including one in three weeks of call coverage including a weekend.
