Job Summary:
The emergency room nurse (RN) position is located in Wenatchee, Washington. This role involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care within a busy hospital setting. The nurse will be responsible for delivering compassionate patient care, coordinating treatment plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours shifts, 36 hours per week, with start times at 1100 and 1500 hours, ending at 2100 and 0300 hours.
- Required Qualifications: Required to have a Washington State or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) licensure. Must maintain active certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Must adhere to organizational policies and standards, operate within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards, and stay current with legal requirements of nursing practice. May be required to float as a sitter and participate in rotation float duties.
- Job functions: Includes coordinating and delivering patient care, developing and reassessing care plans, administering medications, documenting assessments and interventions, ongoing patient status evaluations, providing patient and family education, delegating tasks appropriately, participating in performance improvement activities, and maintaining a safe environment.
