Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Richland, Washington. This role involves providing high-quality perioperative care in a busy surgical environment, supporting elective, urgent, emergent, and trauma cases. The position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting with a focus on patient safety and surgical excellence.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington (WA) RN license, current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and CNOR (Certified Perioperative Nurse) certifications. No minimum years of experience required.
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: The operating room handles elective, urgent, emergent, and trauma cases with support from interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and social services.
- Patient Demographics: Adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
- Additional Information: The position may involve floating between units. Call shifts are required, with up to five calls per month, including weekends. Weekend coverage is anticipated every other weekend or potentially every weekend. Orientation includes 40 hours of training. Candidates must be prepared for intra-facility floating within the organization.
- Submission Requirements: Include response to whether the candidate has previously worked at a healthcare facility affiliated with the organization, including location and dates. Provide detailed interview availability with multiple time options and time zones. Two references covering the last three years are required.
