Description
Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse located in Walla Walla, Washington. This position involves working night shifts at an acute care facility with a level III trauma designation. The role offers opportunities to provide critical care across a diverse patient population, with a focus on managing emergency and trauma cases.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; at least 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience; certifications in BLS, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC; proficiency in charting using Epic system; experience with airways management, dysrhythmia interpretation, central line care, ventilated patient management, and trauma procedures.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in trauma level I or II facilities, prior community hospital experience, and familiarity with interdisciplinary support services.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be prepared to float within the facility. All travel staff should expect to work across various units, providing flexible emergency care. Candidates should include responses regarding prior experience at similar facilities and submit two references covering the last year.
