Pediatric Transport Nurse in the Seattle area. The role involves supporting ground transportation for pediatric and neonatal patients, collaborating with the transportation team, and ensuring safe transfer to higher levels of care. The position requires ground transportation experience, with opportunities for float coverage in NICU, PICU, or Peds units.
Job Details
- Position Description: Peds/Neonatal Critical Care Transport RN supporting ground transportation in the Seattle area, working with RT and advanced practice providers to transport infants and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include working in NICU, PICU, and Peds units, with potential to float as a beside nurse.
- Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS.
- Required Qualifications: Valid compact state license, at least 1 year of experience in pediatric or neonatal transport, current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Schedule: 3x12 Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekend work required, with every other weekend on call.
- Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience is preferred.
- Additional Information: Candidates may be asked to float to NICU, PICU, or Peds units as needed. The role involves using specialized transport equipment and working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must include a response to whether they have prior experience at a Providence facility, along with two references covering one year within the last three years.
