Job Summary:
The Electrophysiology Laboratory (EP Lab) is located in a research-focused healthcare setting in Kansas City, Missouri. This position involves supporting a specialized cardiac intervention unit that performs procedures such as ablations, device implants, extractions, transvenous pacemaker lead revisions, and cardioversions. The role is designed to provide experienced clinical support in a fast-paced EP environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current RN certification, ACLS and BLS certifications, EP lab experience. No minimum years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Advanced skills pertinent to electrophysiology procedures, experience with complex cardiac interventions.
- Additional Information: The facility utilizes Phillips equipment and a documentation system comprising Maclab and Meditech. The unit staffing description and patient ratios are not specified. The position supports a multidisciplinary team and follows hospital-specific policies and guidelines.
