Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Spokane, Washington. This role involves providing high-acuity emergency care in a Level II Trauma Center, working in a fast-paced environment with adult patients. The RN will be responsible for managing trauma, cardiac, and stroke cases, with float between units and working in emergency department holding as needed.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 2 years of clinical experience, certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), with experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, community hospital background, trauma level II experience, and previous travel or ED float experience.
• Additional Information: The candidate must be flexible to float between units, work in emergency department holding, and be prepared to respond to high-acuity cases including STEMI, stroke, and trauma. The role may also require participation in pre-start modules, with compliance documentation deadlines.
