Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for critically ill patients within the ICU setting, ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards and organizational policies. The position requires providing high-quality patient care utilizing specialized knowledge and judgment, and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts only, with 12-hour shift times and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification is required. Additionally, candidates should have at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing and professional certification are preferred.
- Additional Information: The role involves direct patient care in the ICU, including assessments, developing and revising care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Documentation must be timely, accurate, and in accordance with policy. Candidates may participate in research activities and unit or facility shared leadership. The position may involve supervising staff and providing educational support. The physical environment requires the ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly to patient needs, with physical agility necessary for patient transfers and lifts up to 75 pounds.
