Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor at a healthcare facility in Escondido, California. This role involves providing advanced nursing care within a state-of-the-art inpatient rehabilitation hospital dedicated to treating patients recovering from severe injuries and illnesses. The RN will support recovery initiatives for adult and geriatric patients recovering from neurological conditions, trauma, and orthopedic injuries.
Job Details
- Location: Escondido, CA
- Schedule: Days shift from 7AM to 7:30PM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; shift hours total 12 hours
- Position: RN for Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor
- Number of Openings: 1
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 1+ years of nursing experience in a relevant setting, able to float as needed, and authorized to work in California
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations, familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, and excellent communication skills
- Additional Information: The RN will work with a patient ratio of 1:5, supporting a unit with 52 beds. Scrub color can be any color, and reporting time is 7AM. Parking is available in the garage with a request for a temporary first-day pass. The assignment involves supporting a diverse adult patient population in a high-acuity environment.
