Operating Room (OR) Nurse - Santa Rosa, California. This position involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care within a busy acute care facility. The role requires coordination across various surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to hospital protocols. The position is suitable for a qualified OR nurse with recent experience in surgical settings.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: California license, valid BLS certification, 0 years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic charting system, prior OR experience, and familiarity with outpatient or ambulatory surgery procedures.
- Float: Travelers may be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.
- Additional Information:
- Candidates should be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
- Must have a valid California license in hand and be willing to work in a 4-room surgical environment.
- References covering a 1-year period are required, including at least two recent professional references.
- Specific experience with surgical procedures and charting is preferred, particularly with the Epic system.
- The assignment start date is August 10, 2026, with potential for variable shift work as needed.
