Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in Pleasanton, California. This position involves providing hands-on patient care within the surgical setting, practicing according to evidence-based standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies. The OR nurse collaborates with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered procedures.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, 0 years minimum experience, ability to communicate effectively in English
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in operating room or surgical nursing environments
• Additional Information: The OR nurse will support surgical teams during procedures, monitor patient safety before, during, and after surgery, and participate in team activities to improve patient outcomes and unit operations. The role involves rapid assessment, emergency protocol activation when necessary, and contributing to the ongoing education of staff and patients.
