Job Summary:
The profession is a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) procedures, located in Pleasanton, California. This role involves providing expert patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab, practicing within the scope of the California Nursing Practice Act, regulatory requirements, standards of care, and hospital policies. The nurse will perform assessments, coordinate care, and support patient recovery in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) license, current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred, effective communication in English, 0 years of experience required.
• Additional Information: The nurse will create a healing environment by providing emotional support, managing patient discomforts, and guiding patients and families through recovery or illness. Responsibilities include assessing patient data, implementing and evaluating interventions, teaching self-care and illness prevention, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The role requires the ability to respond rapidly to problem situations, activate emergency protocols, and participate in continuing education and team building activities to enhance nursing practice.
