Job Summary:
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) Lynchburg, Virginia. This position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma environment. The assignment is scheduled to start on August 24, 2026, and requires working 12-hour night shifts for a duration of 7 weeks. Prior travel experience in similar emergency department settings is mandatory.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience in a similar size ED with trauma level 1 or 2 designation
  • Valid Active VA or Compact License at time of submission
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC
  • Trauma Certification (ATCN, TNCC, ATLC)
  • Prior Cerner experience is strongly preferred
  • All required RTO documentation must be present at the time of submission
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information:

• The assignment requires working every other weekend.
• The position ends on Saturday after 7 weeks.
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted.
• The client can cancel up to 36 hours per assignment due to census.
• IVS approval from the manager is required for placement.
• Approved declinations for Covid and Flu vaccines are accepted.
