Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse position in Mauston, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-quality maternal and neonatal nursing care within a healthcare facility. The nurse will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes during labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Job Details:

Position: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery (L&D)
Location: Mauston, Wisconsin
Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Start Date: 08/03/2026
Required Qualifications: Two-year degree in nursing; Wisconsin Registered Nursing license; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within 1 month of hire; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire; STABLE within 1 year of hire; Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 1 year of hire; exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
Additional Information: The Registered Nurse will complete initial nursing histories, assess patients conditions, develop individual plans of care, triage patient needs, administer medications accurately, assess labor progression, and manage obstetric emergencies such as prolapsed cord, breech delivery, postpartum hemorrhage, precipitous delivery, uterine rupture, meconium management, abruption placenta, and placenta previa. The role includes managing fetal heart monitoring, pregnancy-related conditions such as hypertension and diabetes, and neonatal assessments including resuscitation and sepsis management. Effective communication with the care team and patient education are essential.
