Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Delano, California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients in the labor and delivery department, supervising and directing nursing staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care. The position requires a strong focus on patient safety, clinical expertise, and efficient care coordination.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift with 12-hour hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred; Acute care facility experience Preferred; Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in California Required; AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification Required; AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification Required; STABLE certification Required; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification Required; Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification Required.
• Additional Information: Delivers patient-centered nursing care in the labor and delivery department, including data collection, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure safe and humane care, participates in discharge planning, delegates duties appropriately, and performs other related duties as assigned.
