Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in step down care is needed for a facility located in Waco, Texas. This position involves providing patient care on a 30-bed step down unit that floats between critical care service lines. The facility emphasizes stability and management of various post-operative and acute conditions, requiring experienced and adaptable clinicians.

Job Details:

• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications, education requirements, and experience include a minimum of 0 years of relevant clinical practice, with a focus on step down unit care. Relevant certifications and licensure must be maintained as per state and facility standards.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with HFNC, BIPAP, stable GTT management, and procedures such as AAA repair, lobectomy, CEA, NSTEMI, STEMI, ACS, pacers, sepsis, GIB, post DKA, respiratory failure, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR).
• Additional Information: The role involves managing diverse patient conditions typical for a step down environment, including cardiopulmonary and post-surgical care. Flexibility to float between the critical care service line is required and expected.
