Job Summary:
Critical Care Nursing Specialist in Baltimore, Maryland. This position involves providing advanced patient care within the Intermediate Care Unit, focusing on postoperative surgical patients with telemetry needs. The role requires skilled monitoring and management of patients' vital signs and dysrhythmias, supporting recovery and stabilization during their hospital stay.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current RN License; 2 years current nursing experience; dysrhythmia management; BLS.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC electronic health record system experience; 1-2 previous travel assignments.
- Additional Information: This role involves pre and post-bedside surgical care on a unit with adult inpatient acute and telemetry patients. Candidates with prior employment in any capacity within the healthcare organizations facilities must have been away for at least one full year before applying as a traveler. Orientation dates occur on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month.
