Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care in Marshfield, WI. This position involves providing high-acuity patient care in a highly equipped Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU), handling complex cases including cardiovascular, trauma, neurosurgery, and various surgical patients. The role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to established clinical protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN), ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS certification. No minimum experience requirement explicitly stated, but a minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-acuity patient populations, including cardiac, trauma, neurosurgery, vascular, and general surgical patients. Familiarity with titratable drips such as Epi, Norepinephrine, Propofol, Precedex, Vasopressin, Dobutamine, Heparin, Insulin, Dopamine, Neo, and Milrinone.
• Schedule and Requirements: Self-scheduling available, centered on unit staffing needs with flexible weekend and holiday shifts. Ability to float between SICU and MICU if needed, with the opportunity to serve as a patient observer as per operational needs.
• Additional Information: The unit is a Level 2 trauma center with a 16-bed SICU, plus 2 procedural beds. The staffing includes a charge nurse, hospitalist or intensivist in-house 24/7, RT available around the clock, and telemetry monitoring with GE monitors. No specific scrub color required; professionalism in attire is necessary. Orientation includes a one-day onboarding and two training shifts with skills checklists to be completed. Clinicians previously employed at the facility should have their end date at least 6 months prior to submission.
• Other Details: The clinician must clock in and out at the facility and should note any prior employment with Marshfield during the submission process. The position is scheduled to begin on 08/17/2026, with most shifts primarily nocturnal and variable in timing.
