Job Summary:
The facility is seeking a Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor (MS REHAB) specialist for a travel assignment in Napa, California. This position involves providing care on a specialty unit focused on acute inpatient rehabilitation. The role is suitable for an experienced healthcare professional dedicated to patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of clinical experience in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation, current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, valid California license, and at least 2 years of total professional experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, recent inpatient rehabilitation experience, and ability to float within the hospital or to neighboring facilities as needed.
• Float: Float rotation may be required depending on patient census and staffing needs.
• Additional Information:
  • Patients participate in three hours of therapy daily, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology, based on rehab diagnoses.
  • The unit cares for adults and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and orthopedic conditions.
  • Must be willing to work two of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year.
  • Valid California license required with no pending licenses accepted.
  • Reference checks covering at least 1 year of employment are required.
  • The assignment begins on 08/24/2026, with a start date of ASAP.
  • Traveler may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby, with refusal to float potentially leading to termination of the assignment.
  • Modules are non-billable, averaging 16 hours, recorded in Workramp transcripts, and must be completed pre-start and annually.
