Job Summary:

Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) in Ithaca, New York. This bedside patient care position involves working in a busy unit that includes ICU, intermediate care, Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Emergency Department settings. The role requires delivering high-quality care while adhering to facility protocols and safety standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and ACLS preferred; minimum 2 years of ICU experience, or 1 year of Med/Surg/Tele experience, or 2 years of Emergency Department experience with triage and charge nurse experience; relevant education or degrees for nursing practice; location in Ithaca, NY; 0 years of minimum experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic electronic health record system
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have at least two of the three competency areas: ICU, Med/Surg/Tele, or ED. This position involves bedside patient care with a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence. Working every other weekend and holiday is required, with support from a lightly assigned charge nurse and a dedicated triage nurse in the ED.
