Description

Job Summary:
The Nursing Professional, specialized in Medical Surgical Rehabilitation (MS REHAB), is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a medical-surgical rehabilitation unit. Positioned in New York, the role involves assessing patient needs, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM; every other weekend required, minimum of 34.5 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: NYS Registered Nurse license; BLS certification; 2 years of medical-surgical and rehabilitation experience; minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience for travel positions; EPIC electronic health record experience highly preferred; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred) or Associate Degree in Nursing with relevant experience and/or active enrollment in a BSN program.

  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The role involves performing charge nurse duties, coordinating supply and staffing needs, facilitating patient throughput, and ensuring documentation compliance.
