Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) at a healthcare facility in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing care for patients in a unit with both adult inpatient acute and telemetry care, focusing on pre- and post-surgical care with continuous vital sign monitoring. The position requires telemetry experience and offers a nights shift schedule.
Job Details:
- Location: Baltimore, Maryland
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license; 2 years of current nursing experience; dysrhythmia management; Basic Life Support (BLS); 0 years of experience is acceptable; no specific education or certification requirements listed beyond licensure and BLS.
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience; 1-2 travel assignments with pre- and post-bedside surgical care on the unit.
- Additional Information: Orientation dates are the 2nd and 4th Monday of every month. Prior employment with any Johns Hopkins health system facility must be disclosed on the coversheet and within the work history for verification purposes. Candidates must have at least a one-year interval since any previous employment within the system if applying as a traveler.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
