Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a Level III trauma center located in Round Rock, Texas. This contract position involves providing high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of handling diverse and urgent patient needs, with an emphasis on teamwork and proficiency in emergency procedures.
Job Details
- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, current ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications, two years of emergency room experience, must be able to work night shifts, and located within the United States.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, moderate sedation.
- Additional Information:
- Unit Profile: 35-bed emergency department with a team of 8 day staff, 5 mid-shift staff, and 7 night staff.
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 or 3:1.
- Common procedures include trauma, stroke care, STEMI protocols, and moderate sedation.
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs for RNs, tan tops with black bottoms for PCTs and US.
- Unit features include modern equipment and a focus on high-energy, busy personalities.
- The environment fosters professional growth with experienced staff and new technology adoption.
