Description
Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) in Walnut Creek, California. This role involves providing specialized care in the Labor and Delivery Department with a focus on high-risk pregnancies, fetal assessment, and postpartum care. The RN will be responsible for autonomously managing patient care and performing vaginal examinations, while demonstrating strong fetal monitoring skills. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of working nights across a 12-hour shift schedule.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: CA licensure, 2+ years of recent strong Labor and Delivery experience, ACLS, BLS, NRP, fetal assessment skills, must be autonomous and able to perform vaginal exams, proficient in fetal heart monitoring, comfortable with high-risk pregnancies
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience, 3+ years of recent Labor and Delivery experience, travel experience
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: IVS will review and the manager will offer
