Description
Job Summary:
The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) profession is currently seeking an experienced healthcare professional for a permanent position at a healthcare facility in Massachusetts. The role involves providing post-anesthesia recovery services, and the individual will work evening shifts within a fast-paced clinical environment. This position requires active licensure and current certification in medical assistance with a maximum of five days of time off for rest and recuperation.
Job Details:
- Location: 101 Page Street, New Bedford, MA 02740
- Schedule: Evening shifts, 3-12 hours per shift, totaling 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/17/2026
- Required Qualifications: Valid MA license in hand, current NURSYS license, minimum of 2 years of PACU experience, high school diploma or equivalent, specific state licensure, and no more than 5 days of scheduled time off (RTO).
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a hospital environment, familiarity with PACU protocols and procedures, additional certifications such as BLS or ACLS preferred.
- Additional Information: The position requires working on-call rotations and adherence to hospital SOPs. Certification in CPR and recent clinical experience in post-anesthesia recovery are mandatory.
