Job Summary:
The Certified Operating Room Technician (ORT CERT) position is located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This role involves providing support in an orthopedic specialty setting with a focus on surgical procedures. The technician must demonstrate proficiency in multiple surgical procedures and work independently in a fast-paced environment, primarily during evening shifts.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Evenings, 8 hours per shift, a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: 5 years current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) experience, with proficiency in General, Gynecology, Vascular, Thoracic, Orthopedic (including total joints), Neurohead and Spine, and Trauma procedures. Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) is required, and current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory. Experience in Meditech Expanse is highly preferred. Experience in travel settings is required. Candidate must have their own vehicle.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with C-sections, ENT, Plastics, DaVinci Robotic Surgery.
• Additional Information: The role requires precepting capabilities, and candidates must have the ability to work independently. Recent supervisory signed references within the past two years are mandatory. The candidate must include their permanent address in the profile and report all time off requests upfront during submission.
