Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in White Plains, NY. This role involves working on a high-risk obstetric unit with a focus on comprehensive patient assessments and customer service. The position requires a nurse with high-risk obstetric experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licenses to submit, certifications including ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-risk obstetric patients, strong customer service skills, familiarity with electronic charting systems such as EPIC.
• Floats: Tasked in OB or nursery but do not take patients.
• Additional Information: The unit handles high-risk obstetric cases, including C-sections, low and high-risk antepartum patients, and mag patients. Nurses perform full exams and assessments but do not insert IUPCs. Weekend rotations are every third weekend; Friday and Saturday night shifts are considered weekend shifts. Scrub color provided, in-house hospitalist or intensivist coverage three nights a week. Role includes floor-specific orientation of 2-3 shifts.
