Description
Job Summary
Registered Nurse Medical Surgical with Telemetry Reno, NV. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within a Level II trauma center. The role requires assessing patient needs, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting 08/24/2026
- Required Qualifications: NV RN license required prior to start, BLS certification, ACLS certification, must pass a telemetry competency exam including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythms strips, and a minimum of 2+ years of Medical Surgical or Telemetry experience. Prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment is required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient care, strong assessment skills, and previous experience in a trauma or high-acuity setting.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to meet organizational needs up to their competency level. Will be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. The schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts, with variations based on departmental needs.
