Job Summary:
The organization is seeking an Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU CV) healthcare professional for a position based in Albany, New York. This role involves providing specialized care for high-acuity patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery management. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering competent, efficient ICU care in a fast-paced environment, adhering to clinical standards and protocols.

Job Details:

• Location: Albany, NY
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Competencies with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring ICU care
  • Experience with high acuity patients including advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, arterial lines, spinal drains, ECG interpretation, temporary pacemakers, vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations
  • 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience
  • Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience
  • Must have previous travel experience
  • Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via candidates email
  • Must have effective scrubs (navy blue uniform) and adhere to facility dress code
  • Must have valid licensing in the state of New York or pending license review
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level One Trauma ICU experience
• Additional Information:
  • The position is vacant due to internal vacancy/leave coverage and involves no float rotation unless specified otherwise
