Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse Nights Reno, NV. This position involves providing comprehensive patient care on a busy 38-bed telemetry unit within an advanced trauma center. The role requires assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, ensuring optimal outcomes through clinical expertise and compassionate service.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 3x12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: NV Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS (American Nurses Association), minimum of 2 years of telemetry experience, passing a telemetry competency exam, prior travel experience of at least one 13-week assignment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Level II trauma center, familiarity with ECG rhythm monitoring, and operating in a fast-paced environment.
- Float: Float rotation may be required to other units as needed, up to the competency level of the individual.
- Additional Information: Travelers may be asked to work major holidays and to pick up an additional shift every 4 weeks. The facility is a high-volume, fast-paced Level II trauma center serving a 500-mile radius, with specialties including stroke, cardiac care, neuroscience, and emergency services. The position emphasizes safe, patient-centered nursing practice throughout all phases of care.
