Description
Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Floor in Lodi, California. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for patients with a focus on acute medical-surgical conditions. The position requires supervising and directing various levels of nursing staff, as well as collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; acute care facility experience preferred; current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient data; analyzes assessment information for diagnosis and care planning; develops and implements care plans; evaluates patient progress; collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare team members; provides health education; participates in discharge planning; delegates tasks appropriately; performs other duties as assigned
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Additional Information: Position involves working on a mixed Medical-Surgical unit with telemetry experience preferred, providing safe, healing, and compassionate patient care.
