Job Summary:
Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) with pediatric psychology specialization sought for a facility located in Hampstead, New Hampshire. This position involves providing nursing care to a pediatric and adolescent patient population within a residential treatment and mental health setting. The role emphasizes collaborative treatment planning and comprehensive care delivery under the supervision of the Nurse Manager.

Job Details:

• Location: Hampstead, New Hampshire
• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid New Hampshire or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license, Pediatric Psych (PEDS PSYCH) specialty certification, at least 1 year of nursing experience, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training, phlebotomy experience, willingness to perform blood draws on pediatric and adolescent patients, and familiarity with general or specialized nursing duties.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in pediatric/adolescent psychiatric settings.
• Additional Information: The role requires performing nursing duties such as medication administration and medical treatments, utilizing the nursing process, and participating in multidisciplinary treatment planning within a pediatric/adolescent mental health environment. The position is an ASAP start and involves flexible shifts only, with the expectation to work with pediatric patients requiring specialized psychiatric care.
