Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse needed in Crescent City, California. The position involves providing advanced emergency care for diverse patient populations, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The role requires delivering timely, high-quality treatment in a fast-paced environment and supporting interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid California State Nursing License; AHA or ARC certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC; 5 years of experience in emergency nursing; experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, and interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias; proficiency in procedural sedation administration and triage unit operations
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with electronic charting systems, community hospital settings, and trauma Level I or II experience
- Additional Information: Commitment to completing labs within 3-5 days of contract signing; candidates must provide 7-year work history verification; compliance documents due 10 days prior to start; module completion during orientation; 2 references obtained within the last year; no separation time required for return staff/travelers; maximum RTO per contract is 7 days; holiday requests permitted for designated holidays, with coverage beginning at 7:00 PM the night before and ending at 7:00 AM the following day
