Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in the Palo Alto, California area. This role involves providing high-quality hands-on patient care within the scope of practice outlined by the California Nursing Practice Act, with responsibilities including assessment, interpretation of data, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The PACU nurse collaborates closely with the healthcare team to promote recovery, monitor patient responses, and support patient and family understanding throughout the post-anesthesia recovery process.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse (RN) license, current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, 0 years of experience required, located in California.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in post-anesthesia or critical care settings is advantageous.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform assessments, monitor patient responses, administer interventions, and provide patient and family education. The role requires effective communication, rapid problem-solving, and active participation in team initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
