Job Summary:
Vascular and Neurosurgery Intermediate Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) located in Iowa City, Iowa. This assignment involves providing specialized nursing care in an intermediate care setting focused on vascular and neuro patients. The role requires strong neuro experience, with a focus on neuro and vascular patient management within the unit.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, Level 1 trauma experience, and neuro experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a neuro or vascular care setting, previous experience working on a similar IMCU or Intermediate Care Unit.
• Additional Information: This unit will primarily care for neuro and vascular patients, including neuro spine cases with lower acuity and vascular cases. Candidates should be proficient in managing neuro and vascular patient needs, with the ability to adapt to a high-acuity environment. The start date is flexible, with any Monday availability.
