Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse (RN) position in Petoskey, Michigan. This role involves providing immediate care in a hospital-based emergency department with a focus on trauma and life-threatening situations. The position requires adherence to strict attendance policies and offers an opportunity to work in a facility equipped with specialized 24-hour support services.
Job Details:
- Location: Petoskey, Michigan
- Shift Time: Nights
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, BLS (AHA); Michigan license verification including LARA and Nursys; 2 years of ER experience; valid state license
- Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience; strong references; completion of skills checklist within one year of application
- Additional Information: A strict 3-strike attendance policy effective from 06/01/2024. The policy considers absences or lateness, with exceptions for communicable diseases or hospitalization supported by evidence. Candidate must have a skills checklist completed within the last year if applicable. Full-time employees of the healthcare provider are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
