Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor Devils Lake, North Dakota. This position involves providing direct nursing care in a hospital setting within the medical-surgical unit. The RN will be responsible for coordinating patient care, performing assessments, and supporting discharge planning, all while adhering to established policies and procedures. The role requires maintaining knowledge and skills appropriate for the patient population served.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license granted by the North Dakota Board of Nursing (NDBON) or a Compact State Agreement; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) prior to start date
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: The registered nurse provides continuity of care by performing daily patient rounds, developing and implementing care plans, and engaging in patient education and discharge planning. The role includes assessing patient conditions, identifying early warning signs, and responding to changes in patient status. All incident reports must be accurately completed prior to shift end, and effective communication with the interdisciplinary team is essential.
