Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Specialty Nurse - Sacramento, California. This role involves providing recovery services for post-operative patients in the PACU setting. The position requires expertise in managing intraoperative and postoperative patient care, including monitoring vital signs, pain management, and ensuring patient safety during recovery from anesthesia.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 3x12 days, 0930-2200, with potential float to ICU if needed, starting on 08/24/2026.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS. Valid California State Nursing License. 0 years minimum experience. Location: Sacramento, CA.
- Additional Information: The role supports recovery services for OR, Cath Lab, IR, Endoscopy, and Cardiac procedures (excluding open-heart). Candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant experience, with preferred experience in patient charting systems such as Epic, and trauma level experience. This position involves clinical responsibilities including arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilator care, sedation, and cardiac monitoring.
