Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves working in a busy surgical unit that handles a variety of procedures, excluding LVADS, transplants, and pediatric cases under 14 years old. The position requires experience with da Vinci Robotics and orthopedic procedures, with a preference for candidates with vascular experience. The shift is scheduled for evenings, and candidates must be flexible to meet unit needs.
Job Details:
- Location: 1200 East 3900 South, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84124
- Schedule: Evenings, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Certifications: RN license and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Experience: 2 years in OR setting with da Vinci Robotics and orthopedic procedures; vascular experience preferred
- Typical staffing includes trauma II (24-hour staff), with a team of more than 81 full-time employees
- On-call requirement of 3 to 6 shifts per month
- Unit information: 13 operating rooms, equipped with electronic medical records (EMR) system - EPICT
- Personnel include 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters per shift
