Description
Job Summary:
Certified Operating Room Technician in Anchorage, Alaska. This position involves working in the operating room unit with a focus on orthopedic, neuro, and robotic surgeries, including total joint arthroplasty and spine procedures. The role requires on-call responsibilities and a commitment to team collaboration to ensure optimal patient care.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Three twelve-hour shifts from 6:30AM to 5:00PM with an average of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certifications: NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting), Basic Life Support (BLS). Education: Certification as a Certified Operating Room Technician. Experience: 2 years in orthopedic, neuro, and Xi robotic surgeries, specifically total joint arthroplasty and spine procedures. Location Requirements: Anchorage, Alaska.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Da Vinci Xi Robotic systems, multi-level spine fusions, and a positive team-oriented attitude.
- Additional Information: On call is required, with scheduled shifts averaging 5-6 weekdays and one weekend shift every eight weeks. Proper scrubs are provided, and unit policies should be reviewed for compliance. Candidate must demonstrate a patient advocate mindset and flexibility to work with various surgical equipment and procedures.
