Description
Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Columbus, Ohio. This position involves providing high-quality obstetric care during day shifts within a demanding and dynamic healthcare environment. The RN will be responsible for patient assessments, delivery support, and postpartum care, ensuring safety and comfort for mothers and newborns. Flexibility to float to other units or care sites within the healthcare providers system may be required.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid Ohio state nursing license, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher, Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Violence Prevention and Management Certification, at least 1 year of labor and delivery nursing experience, and successful completion of hospital orientation.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Trainee L&D experience.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: The position involves delivering care in a hospital labor and delivery unit, supporting obstetric procedures, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
